Your Choice Of Cosmetic Dentist in Brighton & Hove

When it comes to smile design, we believe in creating a bespoke cosmetic treatment plan to make your dream smile a reality.

Using the latest in digital scans and our virtual software technology, we can design your smile together. We can then show you an actual preview of how your smile will look following your choice of treatments. Whether you wish to combine invisalign or one of our many teeth straightening alternatives with whitening, replace old crowns and whiten your smile, or if you need a full makeover with implants, crowns and whitening, we can show you the end result before we get started.

The Team Behind Your Smile Design

Dr Adyl Asani

Founder & Clinical Director
BDS BSc (Hons) DWSI (Cosmetic Dentist & Facial Aesthetics)
GDC No. 73480

Cosmetic treatment at TwentyOneDental is led by Dr Adyl Asani, Founder and Clinical Director. Adyl qualified from Guy’s Hospital, London, in 1997 and has spent more than 25 years working across restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics. That combined perspective shapes how a smile is designed here. Teeth are assessed alongside the lip line, the smile curve and the proportions of the face, rather than treated in isolation.

Dr Bethan Liddy

General & Cosmetic Dentist

GDC No. 270779

Dr Bethan Liddy has completed advanced postgraduate training in aesthetic and restorative dentistry with Dr Christopher Orr. Dr Samar Khamis

General & Cosmetic Dentist
DDS (Denmark)
GDC No. 193304

Dr Samar Khamis graduated from the University of Copenhagen in 2008 and has practised in the UK since 2010, including in private practice in London and on Harley Street. Her focus is on dental and facial aesthetics together, so a cosmetic plan from her considers how a smile sits within the balance and proportion of the face rather than treating the teeth as a standalone feature. She has completed extensive postgraduate training across both disciplines and attends national and international conferences to keep pace with technique.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is cosmetic dentistry?

Treatments that involve improving and enhancing the appearance of teeth while not treating a dental issue are classed as cosmetic treatments.

Invisalign is classed as cosmetic in that it cannot address the level of misalignment that traditional orthodontics can. While a dentist has to be a qualified Invisalign provider to be able to prescribe the treatment, they don’t necessarily need to be a specialist orthodontist or have a special interest in the field. Invisalign themselves regulate the treatment and set the standards that a provider must meet in order to offer the treatment.

This is dependent upon several things such as malocclusion, overbites, underbites and jaw problems being identified. Being a specialist referral centre, our team of specialists, consultants and expert surgeons will be able to assess and advise you what is best for your own individual needs and as a team, will work with you from start to finish, achieving the smile that you want and deserve.

We strongly advise that the gum disease is treated before any further treatments are prescribed. Gum disease will impact restorative treatments such as implants. Our in-house periodontics team will assess and advise you of all treatment options to get you ready for your next stage of treatment.

All qualified dental surgeons are able to provide most cosmetic treatments. Certain branded treatments can only be provided by a dentist with the approved certification – such as Invisalign and Enlighten whitening. As a specialist referral centre, all treatments are undertaken by our leading team of specialists, consultants and experts – all of whom work closely together for the benefit of all patients – all under one roof.
