Dermal fillers are not regulated as medicines in the UK, which means that legally almost anyone can inject them. There is no requirement for medical training and no mandatory register, though voluntary ones exist. Understanding that is the most useful thing a prospective patient can know before choosing where to go.
At TwentyOneDental, filler treatment is led by Dr Adyl Asani, Founder and Clinical Director, whose special interest qualification covers cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics. He has spent more than 25 years working with facial anatomy, and treatment is carried out in a regulated clinical environment with full medical history screening, sterile technique and clinical records kept for every appointment.
It also means that if a complication occurs, it is being managed by a clinician who has the training, the drugs and the protocols to deal with it on site.

Safety, Aftercare and Reversibility
Fillers can be dissolved
The hyaluronic acid fillers used here can be broken down with an enzyme if the result is not what you wanted, or if there is a complication. That is a meaningful safeguard, and it is one of the reasons we use them.
What to expect afterwards
Some swelling, redness and tenderness at the injection sites is normal and usually settles within a few days. Bruising is possible. You will be given written aftercare guidance and a direct route back to us if you have any concerns.
When to contact us urgently
Contact the clinic straight away if you notice blanching or unusual whiteness of the skin, severe or increasing pain, changes to your vision, or skin that becomes mottled or discoloured. These are uncommon but they need to be assessed quickly, and we would always rather hear from you.
