Three Signs Your Teeth Need Cleaning
Brushing and flossing daily is not enough to keep your teeth in perfect condition. Despite the best of your intentions, a toothbrush and floss cannot compete with the thorough cleaning your dentist can provide.
Ideally, teeth cleaning should be done every six months or if any of the following symptoms occur:
– Red, inflamed or puffy gums
– Persistent bad breath
– Tooth sensitivity
Any of these symptoms may indicate the onset of gum disease or an underlying dental problem and it’s time to schedule a check-up with your dentist if any of these appear. In a lot of cases these problems can be avoided with good dental care and regular professional teeth cleaning.
