Keep Your Dental Veneers Bright and Beautiful

Veneers are a very effective way to give your teeth a new look. However, we still need to keep in mind that veneers can become damaged or otherwise compromised if they are not cared for properly.

Let’s examine three takeaway points to keep mind.

  • Biting down on very hard objects can damage your veneers.
  • Brush with a non-abrasive paste and floss regularly to protect veneers.
  • If you grind your teeth (called bruxism), you will damage your veneers.

Your dentist can advise you on whether you’re a good candidate for veneers, and can provide treatment for bruxism as well.
